Building Committee Meetings

In Massachusetts, all building committee meetings—including those for public library projects—must comply with the Massachusetts Open Meeting Law (M.G.L. Chapter 30A, §§18–25), which ensures transparency and public access. Committees are required to post meeting notices at least 48 hours in advance, excluding Saturdays, Sundays, and legal holidays, including the date, time, location, and a “listing of topics that the chair reasonably anticipates will be discussed”.

The public has a right to attend, and minutes must be kept, timely approved, and made available to the public.

We will post links to the recordings of all our Building Committee Meetings as often as possible. More information can be found at the Town of Clinton website.
